Just kidding... March in Russia means blizzards (part 1)
... So I hope you're all enjoying the sunshine south of the border somewhere. On Saturday I was convinced that they really DO have spring in Russia, where the streets are actually mostly visible, and the long-dead-and-buried grass actually makes an appearance. Then yesterday it started snowing again. And it got so bad that everybody, investigators, church members, and even President Pratt himself ordered us to go home and STAY THERE. Oy. 7.5 hours at home, with nothing to do but study (although admittedly I can't really object to extra study time. It's good for the soul), and nobody to call (we've called all our potentials, formers, and less-interested investigators about 600 times already) gets a little old after a while. Just a little bit. But no worries. Today, with the exception of 5 or 6 feet of snow piled everywhere, is looking like it's going to be a lovely day. The sun is even shining. And I guess that's also a good thing, because Sister Kapustina and I have a flight at 7:00 this evening. I'm headed to Korea and she's headed to Vladivostok to hang out with Sister Kovalevskaya for a week until I come back. You were right dad, I did get transferred. The next 6 weeks of my life will be spent in Vladivostok with Sister Kovalevskaya. Yay! New scenery!
